Managing Email Preferences
Keeping your inbox manageable means getting the right emails at the right time — and nothing you didn't ask for. Whether you're a solo designer building a single museum kiosk or part of a team managing dozens of exhibits across multiple venues, Zibit lets you tailor your notification preferences so you stay informed without the noise. This tutorial walks you through finding and updating your email settings so your account works the way you need it to.
Managing Your Email & Notification Preferences
From the Account page, you can control exactly what Zibit sends to your inbox. Look for the Account settings sections navigation on the left side of the screen and select "Notifications" (or press Alt+T) to open your email and notification preferences.
Here you can choose which updates you'd like to receive — such as project activity, team mentions, or platform announcements. Any changes you make take effect right away, and you can always come back to adjust them.

Managing Your Email Preferences
The Account page gives you control over which emails Zibit sends you. Some emails — like Email verification, Password reset, and Security alerts — are required and can't be turned off, since they keep your account safe.
For everything else, you can use the toggles to choose what works for you. Turn on Team invitations and Collaboration notifications to stay in the loop when colleagues join or make changes, or enable Deployment notifications to get notified when your project goes live. Product updates and Getting-started tips are great to keep on while you're learning the platform — and you can always come back and adjust these at any time.

Managing Your Email Notifications
The Account page lets you control which emails Zibit sends you. Your preferences are grouped into three categories: Required account & security mail (these can't be turned off — they keep your account safe), Account activity, and Product updates & tips.
Toggle any switch to turn that email type on or off — your change saves instantly, so there's no need to click a save button. You can come back and adjust these at any time as your needs change.

You're now in control of what lands in your inbox. Revisit your email preferences any time your needs change — for example, when you join a new team, wrap up a project, or want to re-engage with product updates. Here are a few good next steps to make the most of your account settings:
- Review your profile details — While you're in the Account page, confirm your display name and contact information are up to date.
- Explore notification types — Take a moment to read through each category so you know exactly what you're opting into or out of.
- Check back after major updates — Zibit occasionally adds new notification options; it's worth revisiting this page when new features launch.
- Share preferences with your team — If colleagues are also managing exhibits on Zibit, point them to this guide so everyone's inbox stays clean.
- Audit your connected displays — Pair tidy notifications with an organized project setup by reviewing which displays and moments are active across your projects.
