What is ADA-compliant digital signage?

ADA-compliant digital signage means a public screen can reasonably be used by people with disabilities under U.S. ADA expectations—contrast, reach ranges, captions, and alternative input. “ADA-compliant” is a legal bar evaluated in context; it is not a sticker a vendor can grant once.

Physical placement still matters: height, reach, glare, and whether a wheelchair user can approach the kiosk. Software cannot fix a screen mounted too high.

On the software side, accessible color and type, captions, voiceover, and controller support are the controls that make the experience operable. Zibit is built accessible by default; venues still need to plan hardware and placement.
